We are not peanut free. We serve warm peanut butter sauce for sundaes, we make Peanut Butter in some of our flavor bases. The ice cream machine is thoroughly taken apart and cleaned after any batch made with peanut ingredients.
We are not a nut-free store. However, our servers receive Allergen Awareness Training, given by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and we use good food handling practices, however we cannot guarantee no cross-contamination. Our ice cream machine is cleaned after each run of flavors and no nuts are ever introduced into the machine.
Yes. Our ice creams are gluten-free, however we do use products, such as cookies and cereals that contain Gluten. Our servers receive Allergen Awareness Training, given by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Our ice cream cones are NOT gluten-free.
No. Our chocolate and cocoa are imported from Belgium and Holland. Our Vanilla is Singing Dog Vanilla from Portland, Oregon. We use real fruit, no extracts, flavorings or food colorings in our ice cream. We strive to use the highest quality ingredients in our products and, as an example, caramelize our own sugar for salted caramel ice cream.
We make every single batch by hand in our Lexington Factory. Each flavor is created in 10 gallon batches and sent by tub to our stores. We are a small batch ice cream company, where our ice cream is generally sold within 4 days of being produced.
